About Me
Every night before bed in grade school, my mother read me chapters from classic children's novels like Charlotte's Web or Charlie and the Chocolate Factory . Not long afterwards, I began to write my own short stories. I've always had a fascination for language: the way it can create new worlds and evoke powerful emotions.
My skill set includes developmental and copy editing, proofreading, research, fact-checking, and communication. I am bilingual (French and English). I can write compelling, engaging copy for social media and blogs, in various niches such as lifestyle, arts, opinion, news, etcetera. I am equally capable of writing persuasive, result-driven content for businesses looking to communicate effectively with their customers and maintain brand identity.
I am currently completing my Bachelor's degree in English Literature at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. I have experience writing creative, academic and professional content for a variety of audiences. I have been a staff writer and section editor for The Plant, an editor for the anthology of academic essays The Dawson English Journal, and a copy editor for two editions of the non-profit Art Matters festival.
I have a passion for creative writing. I write mostly poetry and short fiction. I currently have 10 publications across Pixie Lit, The Mitre, Ice Blink, SeaGlass, t'ART express, and Antonym.
